Oscar joined the business in September 2020 as General Manager - New Zealand OCG/CMG. He brings with him a wealth of experience in recruitment, business development, client relationship management, strategic and operational business improvement and people management skills. Inspired by Jim Collins, “Good to Great” Oscar is a big believer that to be successful in any business, you need to recruit and retain the right people and ensure they are in the right roles before developing a culture built around performance and accountability.
Oscar is an experienced leader who has demonstrated his ability to grow and develop recruitment businesses across a broad range of industry verticals. Over the last decade, Oscar has held senior leadership roles with one of New Zealand’s largest generalist recruitment businesses and the only recruitment agency listed on the NZX. In his most recent role, he was responsible for leading over 50 managers, consultants and operational support staff spanning the industrial, contact centre, business support, i.t and executive portfolios across New Zealand. Prior to working in recruitment, Oscar held a variety of leadership roles where he was instrumental in driving the New Zealand based operations for a large pharmaceutical business and a global manufacturing giant.
Outside of the office, you’ll find Oscar spending his time watching or competing in almost anything sport related including standing on the side-lines supporting his two children in their various codes.
